Kane Brown is an American country music singer and songwriter born on October 21, 1993, in Chattanooga, Tennessee. He first gained attention through social media, where he gained a large following by posting covers of popular songs. In 2015, Brown released his debut single "Used to Love You Sober", which quickly went viral and garnered over 11 million views on YouTube. He followed this with the release of his EP "Closer" in 2015, which included the hit single "Thunder in the Rain". Brown's self-titled debut album was released in 2016 and debuted at number one on the Billboard Top Country Albums chart. The album included hit singles such as "What Ifs" and "Heaven", which both topped the Billboard Country charts.
